Nick buckingham is a singer/songwriter guitarist who was born and raised on Dartmoor,.. MY DAD was my first GUITAR HERO .... he taught me 'riders in the sky' by the shadows when i was 9 and thats where it all began... i got into the blues via rock music ....the first album i bought was 'ELIMINATOR' by ZZTOP ,, ........ i used to be in the black buddha band, but that was a long long time ago in far faraway place, we had to split due to the misuse of drugs act 1971...(.ian will be released soon)i hope... As far as music is concerned i can hear a lot of influences in my playing from blues to country to grungy rock...and i do wear those influences on my sleeve.. i write and play what i feel,,its the only way i can ....... 'i was born with nothin and ive got most of it left' is what springs to mind
