ITS NOT A BAND,I AM A SOLOIST. I DO SOMETIMES DO GIGS WITH LIVE INSTRUMENTS BUT IT CAN BE A BIT OF A HEADACHE TO KEEP TOGETHER. BUT I AM A SOUL HOP ARTIST FROM AUSTIN TEXAS.
Why this name?
MY ORIGINAL NAME IS AN ACRONYM M.I.R.A.G.E Manifestation Inside of a Real Absolute God in Everyone. IM HERE AS MY ALTER EGO SAVANT AKA SAVI
Do you play live?
I PERFORM LIVE ALL THE TIME. IF YOU DONT KNOW AUSTIN IS THE LIVE MUSIC CAPITOL OF THE WORLD SO YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO BRING IT LIVE HERE. I WILL KEEP YALL POSTED
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
WELL IT ALLOWS A CAT LIKE ME THAT IS LIVING A REAL DAY TO DAY LIFE TO STILL LIVE HIS GOALS OF MAKING A LIVING OFF THIS HIP HOP. I WORK 2 JOBS TO LIVE IN MY OWN HOUSE AND RIDE THE WAY I WANT TO RIDE AND ALSO TO HAVE MONEY TO EVEN PRODUCE MY MUSIC. WITH THAT IT MAKE IS HARD TO PROMOTE AND BE OUT IN THE STREET, SO THE INTERNET ALLOWS ME TO GET MY sh*** ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
IF THE MONEY WAS RIGHT AND THE CREATIVE CONTROL WAS THERE I WOULD DO IT. I WOULD BE STUPID TO PASS UP THAT PROMOTION
