description
I scored this video in a competition over at CGempire. The animation was created by Ilias Sounas. I decided not to go with cartoon style music for this. Rather, I chose to take the film seriously and score it that way.

All music on my music page is written by me. The rock music is sang, written and recorded by me and mixed my brother Will. The orchestral stuff is all written and mixed by me.
Why this name?
I like the word Maverick. Just looks cool to me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think for the better. For example, I would have never gotten into orchestral music. Helps in broadening ones mind, I think.
Your influences?
Musical influences are so diverse it's probably useless writing them down. I mean, I'm influenced by songs and sounds I heard like once 10 years ago. It can be that extreme so I'll just write down the main ones. Orchestral would be Thomas Newman, Bernard Herrrmann, Nino Rota, Marco Beltrami. Rock influences would be Michael Jackson, Pantera, Down, Guns n Roses, Metallica, Slash's Snakepit, American Pearl, Zakk Wylde.

But the list is endless.
