"The Band" is really just me...recording my favorite songs as worship and praise to my God and Savior.
Why this name?
Raphah is Hebrew for "forsake". I chose this name because of Jesus being forsaken. As told in Psalm 22:1 and Matthew 27:46.
Jesus was forsaken, beaten, mocked, and many other things for our sake. The band name honors Him.

Do you play live?
I sing on my church's Praise Team.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Would you be here listening to my songs 10 years ago?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, but you can ask!
Your influences?
I have musical influences from Alan Parsons, Yes, Genesis, Journey, Eric Clapton, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp and many, many, many others. I listened to only "classic rock" and "progressive rock" in my younger years and listen mainly only to contemporary christian now, but all have influenced me greatly!
Favorite spot?
My favorite vacation spot was Daytona and Tampa, Fl. You know the locals hate the tourism (except for the merchants), but the area is so beautiful! I also have fond memories of the Appalachcola Bay area. No hustle and bustle - just nature and beauty.
