Vampyrouss are a six piece Gothic Romance
band from Devon, England. Within their ranks are Kazraine (Vocals), Azrael
(Keyboards), Padraich (Guitars), BoB (Bass Guitar), Rejon (Backing Keyboards)
and Chris (Drums).

Why this name?

An ex member of the band chose the name and it stuck.

Do you play live?

We have been playing live since the end of 2006. So far we
have enjoyed it, and our favourite moment has been seeing the reaction and
energy people display during "I The Samhain Feast".

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It is ONLY a good thing. Sharing music means it is getting out
there, people are too concerned with money.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I think the real question is would a Major label sign us!!

Band History:

For half a decade Vampyrouss have been creating their
trademark "Gothic Romance" soundscapes.
From humble beginnings the band have gained momentum
creating a spate of Demo CD's and singles and beginning to
play as a live band from late 2006.

The Devonshire 4 piece now are set to release their debut album
"Compendium Vampyrica" which vocalist Kazraine describes
as "A mixture of everything we have learnt over the last five
years with some new twists to spice things up! It's heavy,
beautiful, soothing, exciting and extremely catchy all in one!!"

Your influences?

We have a lot of influences from electronic music to extreme
metal. There aren't many Gothic Romance bands to be influenced by really...

Favorite spot?

Our home town of Bideford. Beautiful countryside.

Equipment used:

KORG OASYS, KORG Triton, KORG MicroKorg, Korg PA-50 and Korg M1, Shine 6 String Bass guitar, Shure SM-58 Microphone, Peavey Mixing Desk, Ashton Bass Amp etc...

Anything else...?

The new album will be out this year, so keep your eyes peeled!
