Musician first, person second. I'm a starving artist in all sense of the word - starving for food, starving for affection, with only my passion for music for a will to live. My passion for music is so great that I'm hardly aware of my other deficiencies in my life. There has been numerous occasions when I went on an entire day composing music and forgetting to eat.

So much for dedication. As for whether it pays off, I'll let you, the listeners, be the judge of that.

Why this name?

I first started out as Melodic Euphoria, defining the objective of my music fairly broadly: to infuse a sense of euphoria with my melodies. Since then I've experimented with music of various genres and genre crossovers. Presently I'm beginning to work on the first of my total of 9 serious albums as Necromanceress. My goal in music is presently too specific for "Melodic euphoria". My albums will evoke anything from a certain feeling of grand, dramatic tragedy to ghostly ambient, but one thing is for certain: the music will be taken to the next stage where euphoria and despair mix and become one.

I plan to complete my first two (of 9!), "The Fallen God" and "Trapped in Form" in my next summerbreak from college (2008).

Do you play live?

I don't play live, and any time I'm making music is a special moment to me.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Compromised integrity. Freer flow of information. More convenient and direct contact between musician and fans. There's ambivalent information regarding whether downloading really hurt sales, but I've been told that record companies and intermediaries will go obsolete in the future of the music industry. It doesn't really concern me, though, since I'm making music as a hobby for now. I've no dreams of going into the preforming arts - like becoming the next Hilary Duff...nothing like that. If I were to become a producer, it's likely to be for a nice RPG gaming company like Squaresoft, where I get paid regardless of how much mp3s are being stolen off my hard work.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I have to review the contrast prior to sealing my musical career with a signature. Seems like the wise thing to do in this case.

Favorite spot?

Atlantic City...love it. My favorite place I've been so far. Someday I will travel to all the great cities all over the world...and if spaceships becomes a common means of transportation a few years before my demise, I'd like to cruise around the solar system.

Program: Reason, FLstudio.
Soft synths: Z3ta, Sytrus, Toxic, Wusikstation, Rhino, and various piano/orchestra soundfonts for my serious projects.
