We're a trio from Seattle. We play punk rock: loud, hard, and fast. If you've heard The Clash, Screeching Weasel, or Social D, you know what we sound like.
Why this name?
We paid $25,000 to a consulting firm. Prison inmates 24-39 love "autonomadic."
Do you play live?
Up and down the West Coast, from Anchorage, AK to Los Angeles, CA.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It blows up the buisness model for the major labels. It costs practically nothing now to record, market, and distribute music. We'll always need labels to tell people too stupid or lazy to think for themselves what to buy, but the web creates room for independent muscians and discriminating listeners.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
F*** 'em.
Band History:
We formed in 2002, started touring and recorded an EP in 2003, and recorded a full-length album in 2005. Then our original drummer quit. We found a new drummer, and now (spring 2006) are starting to promote the new album (_Lies, Fear, and Hate_).
Your influences?
The Clash, Descendants, Dead Kennedys, Minutemen, Nirvana, Operation Ivy, Pixies, The Pogues, Ramones, Screeching Weasel, Sex Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, Social Distortion
Favorite spot?
The Lobo in Seattle and the Cobalt (rip) in Vancouver.
Equipment used:
Whatever we can get our grubby little hands on.
Anything else...?
F*** you, skinhead!
