"Beth Davidson
“The Devil’s Wife”
HMG Nashville CC Vol. 127
It’s been said that the past pushes us forward with one hand and pulls us back with the other. Beth Davidson has walked through the fire of life and has come full circle to the place that God intended her to be in the first place. A prolific songwriter and singer, this Kentucky sweetheart brings a breath of fresh air to Country music. If there were one word to describe Beth Davidson, it would be real, real with a love for God and humanity that shines through in her music. Her new single “The Devil’s Wife” is from her first debut album Writing The Wrongs, and his song ranked among the A shelf songs in Nashville. This powerful self-penned track “The Devil’s Wife” will give listeners a reality check. DJs, you don’t want to miss this one!" - Higgins Music Group Nashville.

It's called "With My Clothes On" and yes, it has every bit as much attitude as the name implies. But I'm not gonna try to explain it or defend it. You just have to check it out!

"... Beth's country music pedigree is evident in her lyrics and style. Her folks were both musicians in their own right and let her cut her teeth on tunes written by Hall of Fame hero's like Harlan Howard and made famous by Country Music legends like Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, and Conway Twitty (just to name a few). With her smooth delivery and love of harmony, Beth will not disappoint fans of traditional country - and will surprise contemporary fans with her affinity for up tempo, unpretentious lyrics."

So sit back and enjoy "Beth's Music"!

Why this name?
Well, "Dolly" was already taken. So I just went with what my folks gave me. I think it has a nice ring to it.
Do you play live?
I play private events, though I have played my share of house gigs and traveled a long way for little money. Most recently I performed for my largest crowd to date in Palm Springs - about 1,500 and the crowd was just awesome. I love people who love music!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It transfers control from the hands of few to the hands of many. It gives lots of really talented folks the opportunity to chase a dream. AND I can't give enough credit to Independent Radio programs and DJ's who play from the heart. Listeners really need to support our Independent Radio and DJ's out there!
Band History:
I've been singing ever since I can remember. As a kid, I sang on local radio broadcasts every summer for a summer camp back home - Camp Nathanael, and basically anywhere else where there was an audience. I started singing with "bands" as soon as I was old enough to hang out in honky tonks, taverns, and the usual haunts where you'll find a good ol' country band. Check out my bio at www.bethsmusic.com.
Your influences?
I like all types of music - so I don't ever discount the influence of genres like blues, Rock, or even Gospel. But my mainstay is country. I love Kitty Wells with contemporary musical influences ranging from Wynnona to Patty Loveless. Sounds like a hodge podge, huh?
Equipment used:
Gibson flat top.
Anything else...?
Thanks for listening to my music. If you enjoyed it, please make sure to drop me a line!
