I've been writing music and singing since I was 14.....I'm in my upper 30's now. I'm a sinner saved by grace.
Why this name?
Currently I'm solo
Do you play live?
I've played many times at a local Christian bookshop, but they don't do that anymore. It was great, and it's where my CD was recorded.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's allowed many people get exposure, and promote their music on their own without a major label or promoter taking most of the money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only I could write, sing, and perform music that glorified God. If not, the answer would be no!
Band History:
I started seriously promoting my music, and playing professionally in 2001. Before that I would make cameos with other bands, and I lead praise & worship at the church I pastor.
Your influences?
Larry Norman, Eric Clapton are more like my CD. But my earlier influences include Lynard Skynard, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden. I do have some heavey metal music I've written. I may try and incorporate a couple onto my next CD.
Favorite spot?
I really loved it when I lived in Salem Oregon. New York was fun. But my heart belongs in Texas.....Mission Texas
Equipment used:
Ovation acoustic electric (I'm pictured with it here, and on my CD cover). But on my CD I played a Fender acoustic electric.
Anything else...?
My main objective in my music is to bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ, my Lord. I also like to tell stories of my life experiences and how I came to know Christ.
