"Music should strike fire from the heart of man and bring tears to the eyes of woman" ~ Ludwig von Beethoven
Why this name?
In honor of my band-mates from days gone by, Red Dog, Corey and Nevada.
Do you play live?
I've been blessed with the company of a wonderful girl named Beth for the last 12 years (I wrote "It could only be you" for her) and I have not wanted to do any live stuff lately (she gets all my time !!!!). I may take some songs from "Baby Blue Lincon" live next year. I miss the personal connection only playing live can give me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I started out playing an acoustic guitar into the microphone hole of a 3 1/2 " battery powered hand held mini reel tape recorder that I bought with my allowance on 42nd St. in New York in 1958. I have to say that computers are the single greatest invention for aspiring musicians. I have heard some stuff out of peoples home studios that has just blown me away.!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's really not about the money when you get right down to it, but yes...if it would let me expand my creative talents.

Your influences?
Growing up in the New York/New Jersey area in the 50' and 60's I got to be around a lot of the great performers of the time. Dion and the Belmonts, The Four Seasons, The Young Rascals, the Brooklyn Paramount rock shows with Murray The K all contributed to making music one of the focal points of my life. Hearing the fuzz tone effect on "Satisfaction" changed my life forever.
EC and his long slow blues solo's have comforted and inspired me for a long long time now. South Side Johnny and Springsteen have the sound I love. To much more to list here, guess I'll have to write a book !
