Band History:
In late 1996. first line-up of E.N.D. (Evil Never Dies) was gathered for their first rehearsal in Zadar/Croatia. One year later, serious work starts to be a part of their interests. Through the years, besides the large number of people that passed through the band, image and genre of the band was changing gradually. At first they worked exclusively on HARD-CORE music but in time METAL starts to be the ground zero of inspiration. Today, the stile they grew is based on experimenting with many extreme metal directions but in every way it is hard, fast, thrashy, moshy, polyrhythmic and down-tuned goulash.
Experience that the band collected can be expressed by a large number of gigs all over Croatia and some in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, several demo records, MCD and an album. First two demos, "Shortest Distance From The Truth" from 1999. and "Thru The Thorns" from 2003. were recorded in "Studijo za sirotinju" studio in Rijeka/Croatia. In the meantime, one song was recorded for "Stormbreed" compilation of Infaustum projects called "Free Yourself". Video for that song was recorded and placed on "Thru The Thorns" demo.
In year 2003. guitar player Segy leaves the band and Mario takes his place. At that time current line up was: Alen on guitars and vocals, Didin on drums, Brane on bass and Mario on guitars.
In march 2005. the band recorded three new songs with two new members since the last record. These members are Mario and Brane. This time much more effort was put into production in order to promote the band in the best possible way. This promo MDC named "...to the bones!" contains also second video for the song "Pointless Revelation", live pictures and mp3's arranged as flash multimedia interface.
This and every other information can be found on webpage www.evilneverdies.org or www.myspace.com/endzadar along with mp3's, pictures and video downloads.
In a list of shows E.N.D. shared stage with: PUNGENT STENCH, ONLY ATTITUDE COUNTS, GOD DETHRONED, NEGURA BUNGET, THE OCEAN ... among many other foreign and local great names.
In October 2005 band suffered a tragedy. They lost a dear friend and a bass player Brane who dies from injuries sustained in car accident (rest in peace our friend)! But according to what Brane would like and the band's strong will, E.N.D. kept playing!
As it was the only reasonable solution, common agreement fell and Segy got back in the band, but with a different role. This time as a bass player.
In October 2006. E.N.D. signs with DALLAS RECORDS for two of their songs from "...to the bones!" EP for "New Undergroung - Hard Hitters From Croatia" compilation CD that collected very good reviews.
Period from the year 2000-2006 was pretty hard because of the guitarist's/vocalist's (Alen) separation from the rest of the band. Although he lived in another town in order to graduate from faculty, they still managed to find some time and organize a rehearsal. Things were going very slow but the results are here.
After four years of hard work in the band, in year 2007. Mario leaves because he was no longer able to give sufficient dosage of himself for the band to progress, so E.N.D. continues as a trio:
Alen - guitars and lead vocals
Segy - bass distortions and back vocals
Didin - rhythm sections
