It's my real name.
Do you play live?
I play live with the Classic Rock band Nein Lives (http://www.neinlives.com), and the virtual band Dark Victory (http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=35515).
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it possible for anyone to present their music to the world at large.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not really sure at this point.
Band History:
I've been a professional keyboardist for about 32 years now. I've played with a variety of bands live, and while I have written songs for years, I've finally reached the point that I have the tools to do quality recordings of them. I haven't stopped writing new stuff either, so I have a lot to get recorded in the coming years.
Your influences?
My influences as a musician are J.S. Bach, Keith Emerson, Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman... as far as stylistic influences, I like rock, jazz, classical, world, electronic; just about anything.
Favorite spot?
Pittsburgh.
Equipment used:
I do my recording in Sonar5. I use a Kurzweil K2600s as my main controller in the studio, accessing a ton of softsynths; on stage I use a Korg BX-3, Triton, & Yamaha Motif rack, all going through a Motion Sound KBR-3D.
