Ryan Tessier began his music career in Thessalon, ON. when he was 11 years old. He joined the heavy metal band, Tree while in high school. The band branched off, and Ryan began writing songs himself as a solo artist. This began in 1998 which took him to Edmonton, AB. and Vancouver, BC. Traveling back and forth, he performed at open mic nights across Canada. When he came back to Ontario, he continued performing at open mics in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Ottawa, London. Then in February 2004, Ryan began recording at Extra Fine Records and released the self titled EP, The Mellow Bar Side Project. After recording, he went back to Edmonton and Vancouver to promote his CD and continued to perform. 2006, now beginning to record his first full length LP at Extra Fine Records.
