This is my one-man band. I program the drums with Superior Drummer 2.0 (many of them are Drumkit From Hell Superior or the original DFH.) Everything else is also written, played, and recorded by me. Guitars and bass are done through a Podxt directly into the computer. Most of the music is progressive/experimental/anything goes metal.

Why this name?
Just an online alias.
Do you play live?
I've got an actual band called Nutricula now, and Shattered Circles from this site has been played live in that band. Not quite the same version though. A lot of the other stuff is a little too complex or not quite the right style to execute in the band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Good for people like me, because its hard to have people hear your music without any publicity. So websites like this can help a little.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the conditions. But probably.
Band History:
I found out I really liked music when I was a kid, learned to play guitar and some other instruments, and started recording. Here we are...
Your influences?
I'm influenced in some way by all kinds of different music, but mainly experimental/progessive metal

Meshuggah/Fredrik Thordendal
Tesseract
Gojira
Dream Theater (not so much lately)
Bulb (here on soundclick, go listen if you like metal)
Opeth
Tool
SRV, Satriani, Hendrix
Allan Holdsworth

etc...
Favorite spot?
Fort Collins, CO
Equipment used:
For recording I go thru a PodXT using either my Carvin DC727 with a Blaze Custom in the bridge or a 2001 RG7421XL with an X2N in the bridge and Tone Zone 7 in the neck.

'93 Ibanez RG570
'00 Ibanez RG7420 (w/ a SD Blackout in the bridge)
Carvin DC727 w/ Blaze Custom
Ibanez RG7421XL
Alesis Micron Synth/MIDI controller
Superior Drummer 2.0
Drumkit from Hell Superior (not used anymore)
Nuendo 3
POD XT w/ Metal Pack
Digitech Bad Monkey (live use)
B-52 AT-212 amp (live use)
Rogue Bass for recording

Anything else...?
If some of these songs seem too 'out there' or too random, listen a couple times before you give up. This kind of music usually gets a lot better once you have time to process it a little.
