This is a collection of songs that speaks the very heart and soul of the Youth Leadership of Bethany World Prayer Center and 220 Power. They have given up all they have for the Great Commission. Souls. 20,000 souls locally, 1,000,000 souls worldwide. Many ask the same question, "Can they acheive it?" Yes. "Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit," says the Lord.
Already breaking ground, by adding a tithe (2,000 youth) to the ministry in 2005, The 220 Youth Leadership hopes to bring their ministry to the next level. With this current project, "Put your light on," breaking ground as the first of many projects to come, The 220 Leadership hopes to lend a helping hand to the Katrina/Rita victims and our ministry's 20/20 Vision. But most of all, the liberation of so many trapped in the snares of satan with no visible means of escape, to a God who now and forever will reign in righteousness.

Why this name?
220 Came from the scripture in Gal. 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live. Yet not I, but Christ who lives within me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loves me and gave himself for me."
Do you play live?
We go wherever the spirit leads. There is always an opportunity to witness and minister the Gospel to a dying community. We are based in Baker, LA and surrounding areas. God has placed us here for a reason. We are fully aware of our calling and we are willing to press through the long haul.
Our favorite time of year is our annual Youth Conference in June. Anywhere between 4,000 and 7,000 youth and ministries attend every year. The experience is life-changing. Deluge 2006 "Enough Is Enough."

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We have mixed feelings about the influence of the internet/Media. For the most part, we see it as a perfect opportunity to share the Gospel to those who don't have the opportunity or simply won't hear it in it's conventional way. Anyway that we can share the Good News is welcome. Burning C.D.'s, however is something that we all considerably dislike. The act of stealing from the ministry, is like stealing from God. As one of our leaders put it, "You Burn, You Burn".
Band History:
This group of 30+ artists came together as a result of a common goal. To spread the gospel to a lost and dying world. A year in the making, The current project, Put Your Light On, speaks what the 220 Leadership has been trying to say since it's inception. To win souls, Connect them to the body, Consolidate them into the ministry, and send them out to reach more. Simple process that has overwhelming results. Only if you are willing to lay your life down for the cause.
To be honest, this whole thing started with Jesus himself. Though the avenues have changed, the message of the Gospel never will.

Like we said before, we have an eclectic group. As our styles change, so does our influences. Israel Houghton, Micah Stampley, Virtue, Cross Movement, Zik-Lag, Lisa Maclendon, Canton Jones, 116 Clique, Jonathan Stockstill, Sanctified Syndicate, ...The List Goes On And On.
