HI! thanks for checking my music out. I been making music for a long time and I decided to put some of my best on here. Although I am not 100% happy with what I have so far, I am still working on what I feel would be the perfect song, even though that does not exsist. I am a radio DJ, party DJ and I love to produce music, not just for myself but for others as well. DJing and music producion is my life. I enjoy being a radio DJ when I can, even though in this such a small town, the only two radio stations you can work for or dry, boring, just like the others, nothing exciting, and worst of all, from working at both, they are lousy and dump you after they squeeze everything you know out of you, but most of all, I LOVE to get a club or a party really going with my work. I do triditional DJ and BeatMix Vinyl. I also enjoy creating remixes of some of my favorite songs. I remixed, Mario - Let Me Love you, Usher - Yeah, Coldplay - Speed Of Sound, but due to copyright laws, I retain these for my personal listening pleasure for now. Maybe later I will be able to post those, Im working on it. Most of the stuff you hear on here is more like a learning curve for me and a few are song I set out to do. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to let me know what you think. they are not the greatest but I hope to get better at this in time as I get more stuff and time. Most of these songs people like to tell me they would work in movies and games. I dont know really. All I know is Im not 100% happy with what I have done yet. I guess you can never be or you will never keep going up. Still want that so called hit of mine.
I have been into the DJing and maiing music all my life. When I was only 4 years old, a friend of my mom's gave me a real casio brand keyboard and to me, it was the coolest thing. I played around with it and made my first song, which really isn't much, but at 4, I was pround. I have also been into radio DJing for about as long. All my life and pretended to be on the radio, recording my self on tapes and playback my radio shows. Over the years, I learned alot more about what I like doing in both fields and I have worked in a few radio stations on the FM and AM dail and streamed my own stations online, which I continue to do so. working at one Top40 radio station back in 2000, I sorta got tired of the sound of what I called "normal everyday" music and was introduced to and genre of music that I have never heard of. "TRANCE" The first song I every heard of the genre and Lustral - Everytime (Kimball Collins remix) and it blew me away, the total sound of this song. Then I dug around and heard some trance with the trendy trance leads heavy synths and I was completely lost in the sound. the more I heard it, the more of it I wanted but still, I wanted to be apart of this as well. So I researched how the music was made and what was used and taught myself what I needed to learn about sound structure and design. Today, I am ahppy with what I got and I will continue to better myself and go forward with my work. I LOVE trance music and I want to create better tracks then what I have but that takes time and I know I will get there. Please feel free to let me know what you think of the few songs I chose to post. All the trance type songs I made where 100% writen, produced and recorded by me. The synths were not preset but rather using all sorts of oscillators and effect to get and structorsthe sounds I want. Thats how I like to make my music and I hope you enjoy. -Andrew

Why this name?
WHY? well, haha, it's my name. Plus Im not good aat naming things. So I took the easy road on this one ;-)
Do you play live?
I only DJed live, I have not performed any of my mixes live yet, but that soon is coming. To have the opportunity to play and mix my own music live is a goal I been going after.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the MP3s have allowed people to get more music easier and for free. Yes I know that its sorta steeling but for nitch genres of music, free MP3s is a gold mine. what I mean is, I grew up on your average pop and rock radio hits. then I worked for a radio station who played the same. It all became boring so using Napster when it was free, I was introduced to the dance music like Trance, house and the sort of stuff. I also found music from 4 Strings, Paul Van Dyk, Neo Cortex, Lasgo DJ Tiesto, and alot more that, if not for research and free MP3s, I would have never heard of them and yes, After downloading alot of their music, when I went to the right music stores, I bought a few of their CDs so I can hear even more of their work and support them as well. I still download music of that genre, and from some new songs I just got from Paul Van Dky "The Other side" and a few more, I bought his CD "The Politics Of Dancing" and I believe there is a 2nd version of that as well, I plan to get that soon. The way I see it, even for myself, MP3s are wonderfull and it opened up a new love for a new genre to me and those artist have a new fan in me and I do own a alot of their CDS and I found there are stuff on those CDs you cant find in MP3s.. For me, I am using filesharing networks to get my work known. I want people to enjoy my music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, what artist wouldn't? I mean I can record it all myself as I do, but a record label would open a world of, well, ALOT!! The only thing I would frown on is they would own my stuff, so looking at it like that, I like doing my own thing, just like to distribute my stuff to the masses.
Band History:
Their really isnt much of a history other then a kid sitting around playing his keyboard and messing with computer software. I been playing keyboard from the age of 4 when I was given one to mess with. An old Casio SK keyboard and made up my own songs. Infact, a song I have madeNIGHTFIRE, uses some chords that I use to play when I was only 5 on that old casio, basiclly my first song. Then it was simple 3 chords, but now, those same chords with what I know today, well, very impressive. I LOVE LOVE AND ENJOY producing music and remixing!! YEAH!!! I also love being a radio DJ,, my number one in life!
Your influences?
I live in a small town where NO ONE ANYWHERE listens to this style of music nor do they play it on TV nor radio, So The interent introduced me to this music. I was so inspired to do this from Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, 4Strings, oh too many. Also I have alot of inspirations from alot of great Hit music producers. I have loads of these guys CDs now and they have inspired me to do what Im doing now. Thanks alot.
Favorite spot?
I love being places where its warm alot and there is a beach nearby like the Outer Banks of North Corolina USA and as for City, I really like Washington DC and Nothern Virgina USA. Memphis Tennesse is nice was well. Miami Florida.. OOOOOOO. I need to get to Ney York!! But over all, I have not found mt "RIGHT spot yet.
Anything else...?
Not much of anything. I am working to build a website. Not up yet.
