Why this name?
Lee is my middle name...Wycked is just how my playing has been described. ;)
Do you play live?
I used to....but not my own music. Soon though, I will play live, soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps get the music out there, and THAT IS what's important!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, just for kicks.
Band History:
It all started with Korn's Freak on a Leash single back in '98. The thundering sound of that wicked bass caught Lee's attention and sent her on this musicial journey she travels today. Quickly indulging herself with countless hard rock/metal outfits of the late 90's, Lee's interest in the "dark" side of music grew exponently, causing her to pick up the guitar at the age of 14.
At first, Lee began her studies with classical music which eventually led to mexican folk music and then to jazz. Involved in various musical groups, Lee traveled around, not only Austin but parts of Texas as well, playing for large crowds, bringing her love of music to those who would listen. Despite her obvious talent and success in all of these genres, Lee still wasn't satisfied nor would she be until her desire to share her own music and not just cover songs could be fulfilled. Taking a break from the music scene in early 2004 proved to be exactly what Lee needed. Confident and ready to face whatever endeavors lie ahead, Lee created a guitar duo which would eventually come to be called Deny. Sadly, this duo didn't seem to fit Lee's idea or passion to her music, and therefore left the group in late 2005. Bolder than ever, Lee now faces her journey alone.
