Dark music that you can't forget...

Soul Dirt incorporates elements of guitar driven Goth-Punk rock, and blends them with a variety of other influences to create a thick driving tone with a multitude of hooks.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It makes it a lot easier for people to share their musical ideas - which is great.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes...

Band History:

Soul Dirt is based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Favorite spot?

Dunedin, New Zealand. It has a great feel and is basically 'home'.

Equipment used:

All manners of stuff, but recording is with Adobe Audition 1.5, Shure mics and a Peavey mixing desk.

Past that primarily Gibson and Taylor guitars, Fender basses, Tama drums, Paiste cymbals and Marshall amps and cabinets. Effects are very rare, but mostly Jim Dunlop stuff.
