Alan the Harp has an impressive music CV having been very much a part of the indie and pub rock scene of the London area and amongst his memorable gigs has played support to the UK Subs at the New Cross and done the same for Nine Below Zero. Alan has also played at the Power House and the Dublin Castle. He has now relocated to Tenerife where he is very quickly getting recognised as a top live performer accompanying himself on guitar and blues harmonica.
Why this name?
Because of my main instrument.
Do you play live?
Yes - bars and clubs and have been resident act at the Stage Door in Las Americas and also a regular performer at Flicks in Amarilla Bay.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives people a whole new way of promoting and listening to music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes!
