Currently using Reason 3 and assorted midi keyboards plus Cool Edit. Been writing electronic music for about 8 years or so now, in a band lugging heavy amps and guitars around before that. Hopefully I'll be dusting off my guitar soon when I can afford to connect it to the computer.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
100 years ago you couldn't just listen to anything you wanted to whenever you wanted to. Now you can. Hooray.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, with the previso I wouldn't have to appear in public. Ever.
Your influences?
Metallica were the first band to grab my attention when I was a teenager followed by a whole swathe of thrash and hard rock bands. Megadeth, Anthrax, Warrior Soul, Baby Chaos (now known as Deckard), Smashing Pumpkins, Foo fighters, Incubus, Audioslave, Soundgarden to name a few. However I discovered nightclubs that weren't sticky-carpeted dives and got hooked on electronica too. My tastes have mellowed since and a bit of Way out West never goes amiss. These days I listen to most things. Mozart's violin concertos are in my collection with Miles Davis and Bob Marley. Anything goes.
Favorite spot?
Wester Ross Coastal Trail, Scotland.
