The Darude Concert went AWESOME, I opened the show, DJ Kenneth Thomas came on next and Darude took over the rest of the night. For those who came, thanks for your support and those who didn't, wish you were there. Stay in touch and I'll let you know when and where I'm spinning next.
I'm now spinning every Sat and Sun night at Kongo's in Norman,OK. Gotta come check me out. Hella bartenders, HOTTTTT Waitresses and HOTTTT Women dancning their asses off.
Wed Aug, 31st, I'm spinning the Late Registration Illuminus Party, Along with DJ Surreal. He chose the Main room so I'm going to be in the Banquet room. No problem, I'll tear him up just like I do every night at Kongo's.

DJ Aphex is an up and coming DJ from Oklahoma. He has been in the game for over 10 years and is getting ready to break out. He can mix anything from hip hop to electronica to remixes already made or even doing his own remixes. He has a new CD called "New World Aphex" with 12 dance floor pumping tracks and a single coming out "(Come on) Take Me High" that will have the dance floor packed.

I spin anywhere live. I mix ANY type of dance music
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great, I mean, sometimes there are remixes that you can ONLY get on the net.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, if it was right. I mean I would rather go to an independent label for the fact, they don't try to screw you over as much. I mean, I think the song that the person wrote should have ALL rights to that song, I mean, it wouldn't be there if it wasn't for that person/group.
Band History:
DJ Aphex has been around for over 10 years mixing it up. Doing anything for the ladies to make them dance.
Your influences?
I love Jam Master J (R.I.P) the godfather of mixes. Skribble is awesome, Paul Oakenfold (I want his nightly pay,lol), Q-Bert (Scratch King), Darude and Many Many More.
Favorite spot?
Seattle, NYC, Miami, Dallas, Vegas, Austin, San Antonio and of course my Home OKC
Equipment used:
I use 2 CDJ1000 MK2's ( I love the digital Sound) A Numark DM1050 Mixer and my PC for all my own original Music.
