I am an artist who writes music in many different styles. I like to experiment with music and make compositions that stand out.
Why this name?
I was born with this name. My grandfather L.B. Klugh was involved in music and recorded 78 RPM records. My father was also involved in music. The am the third generation of the Klugh's to do music, and I am proud to use that name.
Do you play live?
I perform a lot. Much of my music I record in my studio that I called T.S. Klugh Studio (www.TSKlughStudio.com). My studio also helps other artists and community theatres. I have written music for a couple original plays and promotional videos. However, my love is composing my own inspired works.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The MP3 file has revolutionized the music industry. Suddenly getting one's music "out there" is an easy as an upload. This is a great age to be a songwriter.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Without a doubt. That is the childhood dream isn't it?
Band History:
As an artist, I have been composing music since I was five years old in 1973. I have written down every song I wrote and it totals to about 400 songs. I still write songs today, but my major passion is turning my existing songs into professional recordings with impressive orchestration. I list my recordings on my studio's web site at www.TSKlughStudio.com where one can also hear mini-clips from the music. I contract other singers and musicians to join me in my projects from time to time.
Your influences?
I have always been a great fan of any artist who can stir my heart. At the top of this list of artists are Mozart, Vangelis, Boston, The Cars and Pink Floyd. But the list goes on and on because I enjoy so many styles of music. Like I said, if your music stirs my heart, you're on my list.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot is anywhere I can perform. My favorite city is right here where I live... Grove City, Ohio.
Equipment used:
I use my studio, T.S. Klugh Studio, for making my music. You can visit my studio at www.TSKlughStudio.com for equipment and other information.
Anything else...?
I also have a karaoke theatre.
