Why this name?
The Band originally called themselves Oestrogen, named as such because the 3 original members were female. The IX was added as a title for the Website, but the name stuck and the band became
Oestrogenix.

Yes we do, there are a few dates lined up for 09, watch this space for more info
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives people better access to the world of music. Long as Artists get paid for their work its cool, its a hard world, we all got to make a living however free we wish to be. But happy to share what we create for free, its just nice that people want to listen and have access.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if the right offer came along.
Band History:
Three of us were good friends before we formed Oestrogenix, just decided as we all had musical skills (Though some of us were rusty) it would be nice if we could pool them together and see what would happen. From there Oestrogenix has grown into what it is today.

Just enjoyed listening to some of your songs. My favorite so far is your song "CCC." I don't know if it's just my equipment, but some of your tracks were skipping, etc while I was trying to listen. Anyway, keep on jamming and take a listen to my simple, guitar-vocal song about the joys of jamming titled "Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace."

i was hoping to be able to get in touch with the feminine side of your music, but electronic music seems more asexual to me. still quite good of this genre, although i would add more vocalization by the ladies. just put a mike in front of the girls and have them talk about shoes or something. peace & love to you.
