The band King Flower formed in 2004. It is currently based in Newport News, Virginia. We play some covers, but focus also on original material. The band plays hard, bluesy rock 'n' roll, with plenty of improvisation. Founding member Allen Barker plays lead and rhythm electric guitar. Other band members are currently in a state of flux.
Why this name?
Constellation King Flower is a Bodhisattva mentioned in the Lotus Sutra.
