This band consists of J (vocals, percussion, etc), George (guitars, bass, synth), Bret (guitar, bass), and Alex (drums)... Songs were recorded summer of 2004, a volatile mix of rock, punk, funk, hiphop, and mental doses of improvisation and occasional moments of practiced condensation. J is now booking bands and still playin' whatever instrument comes his way, George is typing on the computer and looking to record some bands and a drummer, Bret is in school for video and Alex is in the Florida, probably chillin' by the beach.
Why this name?
After going most of the summer with no name, little direction, and lots of potential names, we decided on flyin j and the pyromaniacs, doa
Do you play live?
nah, not right now
we play in my bedroom studio or in j's living room
we did play a show called 'The Great Satan' by Flyin J and the Pyromaniacs, it was a one off experience. It was awful, awfully loud that is.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that people get lesser quality of music but save money... maybe the music industry should have innovated on the cd package sooner; it should have been 10 bucks a cd 10 years ago.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
still? maybe if they find me a drummer
