Why this name?
I wanted to change it up a bit. Shakespeare's Crush was a great way for me to introduce my music to the world audience. I love it!
Do you play live?
For now, local coffee shops, open mics, and other special events around Portland. I'm looking for more venues as well.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More opportunity to share music and gain interested and appreciative listeners.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably. If it's worth it.
Your influences?
just about everyone!I've got an extensive list... You name it? I've learned something from them. :) One musician said I'm a mix between Tegan and Sara and the Dead Milkmen.. Other people tell me I sound like Sheryl Crow or Liz Phair..It's always up for individual interepretation.
