Biography~

Randy Fox and Barry Hammers have known each other for many years, but when they decided to form Machine Made Pleasure in 2004, they never imagined the music they could create. Inspired by recent artists Apoptygma Berzerk, De/Vision, Icon of Coil, Colony 5, VNV Nation and influenced by past greats Depeche Made, Erasure and The Human League, Machine Made Pleasure set out to make great music that would play in your head all day.


Now in 2008 we are rewarded with the new CD “Ends with E”. Fans will be pleased with the songs that the band has created. A more mature sounding Machine Made Pleasure is both musically and lyricly a pleasure to listen to. It is amazing how far the band has traveled. Needless to say, the new Cd will touch you heart, move your feet and make you think about how we live. Hope you enjoy “Ends with E”. Look for remix versions of several songs on the website.

Their first full length CD entitled “Spirit Within” was released in Sept 2005. Machine Made Pleasure received great feedback from their 1st release. Besides being played by clubs in the DC area, the song “Ghost” hit #1 on Aeschtunes (#8 in 2005), soundclick.com, unsignedbandweb.com and Slothradio.com. Other songs like “Id Die For You”, “I break the Chain and “Fast As Ever” have also hit #1 and are being played on many web radio stations such as Infusedradio.net, 99.9 The Electric Front, Tesses Indie wave, Aeschtunes, Signal Decay and Sloth Radio.com just to name a few. Machine Made Pleasure have truly created a sound and feel that has been embraced by clubs and Industrial/Synth fans alike.
