Patrick Beverley is a guitar-wielding busker, usually to be seen strumming away on the corner of some street in Bideford, UK. He plays folksy, rocky, bluesy songs, and sometimes, when in an adventurous mood, has been known to produce a harmonica and play said instrument.
Do you play live?
I play the occasional open mic night or gig, but for me, playing live usually means busking.
Your influences?
Neil Young, Radiohead, Wilco, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Socialism.
Favorite spot?
My favourite place to play is in front of Lloyd's Bank on Bideford High Street. Strumming my guitar, I lean my head back against the wall of the bank and bellow out the lyrics of the songs so loud that I can hear them echoing off the shops on the other side of the street.
Anything else...?
Check out this website, where I have contributed to some of the art on display.
