5-25: Hey all, it's Chace. There's nothing new going on with the site, but it's been a really long time since we've updated - so I figured I'd just let everyone know what's up.
We've had several shows since the Kraftbrau show at the end of March, and all have gone really well, save some technical difficulties. We played an acoustic show at Kalamazoo Central, which we all really enjoyed. The same day, we played a show at Music Express, and had that show recorded. We heard the rough mix and it sounds great. We hope to have the final recording soon so we can get better versions of these songs up. Also, look for a few acoustic surprises on the site.
Lately, we've been focusing on writing new material and we've got a lot of new songs in the works, and I personally think we're moving in a really good direction. Hopefully you all will continue to agree. Thanks for all your support, truly. I never anticipated having the following and support from you all that we've received. Thank you.

Why this name?
Jake: Chace came up with it, and I agreed. It's about time we got a name, too.
Chace: Yeah, I had a spur of the moment idea and Jake liked it.

Do you play live?
Jake: We will eventually. We've played some gigs before as well.
Chace: We've played parties before, but when we find a singer and finish up about 10 songs, we'll be gigging extensively.
Tyler: I've gigged around our metropolitan area before. I like it a whole lot.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Jake: Lesser known artists definately receive a boost in accessibility.
Chace: I guess it's helping people explore a lot of music for free, but I still feel that touring excessively is the best way for artists to get noticed.
Tyler: Its quite a catch 22. It kicks big buisness in the ass but kills out the little guy faster than it promotes him.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Jake: Preferably a smaller label. But any label will do, I suppose.
Chace: I would not say no to any label with four walls and a roof right now.
Tyler: Depends on the deal.

Band History:
We'll get to this later. Basically, it's been John and Chace since April of 2002. We started off covering Pearl Jam songs, and it's sprouted into the inseperable trio of John, Tyler, and Chace.
Your influences?
Jake: Pearl Jam, Danny Carey, Dave Grohl, my fellow bandmates that I have played with.
Chace: My three biggest influences are Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Mike McCready.
Tyler: Sun Ra, Coletrane, and Roland Kirk among many other jazz musicians. Slint, GSYBE!, and Sonic Youth just to name a few rock musicians.
