An independent record label consisting of talented emcees and producers aimed at preserving both the music and the culture of hip-hop, which are by nature inseparable.

REBEL RADIO II, hosted by GR& PHEE and KETCHUP, features independent hip hop's best kept secrets: DJ CUTLER, DJ ANUBUS, DJ OPTIMUS PRIME, RHYSON HALL, CATASTROPHIC, AJENT O, KEITH CONCEPT, XNOW THE LAST MC, WISE MECCA, GR& PHEE, AND ANALOG; all holding it down over DeepThinka's trademark true hip hop sound courtesy of producers T1X, PASTIME, COVERT, AJENT O, AND NATWHEAT .
Why this name?
it's what we are, plain and simple
Do you play live?
of course, check the website for dates...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
we're all artists, and we all still download
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
why? the major label record industry is crumbling!
Band History:
Founded in 1997 by Robert Hill and Tony Caferro, DeepThinka Records' main objective from day one has been to differentiate itself among the overabundance of indie-labels by redefining what a hip hop record label is and can be. This redefinition effort is made possible in part by providing an environment conducive to artistic expression, minus business and politics. DeepThinka aims to bring the artist and their sound to the forefront, placing emphasis on the music rather than the business. DeepThinka's entire staff is composed of hip hop artists themselves, from the president to the promotion coordinator to the radio servicing director; we're all hip hop, we all place good music before all else. Over the years DeepThinka has dedicated itself to expressive artistic revolution, classic wordplay, skillful and innovative hip hop, industry revolt and reform, political/social development, and mental awareness and consciousness.

The follow up to DeepThinka Records' groundbreaking FREE compilation is on the horizon. Last year DTR made it a primary focus to provide fans and listeners with free music and REBEL RADIO was designed to fight back against the corporate “nickel and dime” measures music consumers endure. Thousands received free copies and many more downloaded the release, critics acclaimed, haters hated, hearts were warmed, and minds were opened.
Now the Buffalo, NY based label has stepped it up another level with the second installment in the musical movement to free hip hop now. REBEL RADIO II, hosted by GR& PHEE and KETCHUP, features independent hip hop's best kept secrets: DJ CUTLER, DJ ANUBUS, DJ OPTIMUS PRIME, RHYSON HALL, CATASTROPHIC, AJENT O, KEITH CONCEPT, XNOW THE LAST MC, WISE MECCA, GR& PHEE, AND ANALOG; all holding it down over DeepThinka's trademark true hip hop sound courtesy of producers T1X, PASTIME, COVERT, AJENT O, AND NATWHEAT . And 1nce again, we'd like to encourage fans, professionals, and listeners to take a radical step against corrupt industry measures by supporting the free distribution of music and enlisting to receive REBEL RADIO II.
