How many members does it take to make Rhythma? Right now, all this work is studio work and there is no band perse. There is just one person, a crazed creativateer named Sean Michael Imler.

Sean is a visual artist, music composer, and tech geek extrordinaire. He is excentric, ordinary and beguiling. One thing is for certain, you will like what he creates. He never goes down the same path twice which means you can never expect things to the same from one moment to the next. Benefit or disadvantage? You decide.
Why this name?
The bandname came from a dream, where much of the music comes from also.
Do you play live?
Rhythma is not currently performing although you can catch Sean playing at various open mics and such here and there.

Sean used to play with a Marimba ensemble named, "Kuzanga" mainly around the Santa Cruz, Ca area. The music comprised of traditional music of the Shona and Ndebele people of Zimbabwe, Africa. Sean left to spend time creating his own music and has only looked back a couple of times to fill in for gigs.

Playing out will be something comes onto the roster soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is awesome and inspiring. Sean has spent the last 8 years of his life focused on the internet, doing design work, programming, hosting, and still does this professionaly. He spends more time on the internet than playing music. Hopefully, that will swap one day.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm a little leary of major labels. The methods of paying radio stations to play music has negatively affected the quality of music overall. It saddens me that there is so much bad music that gets shoved down our throats. Would Sean sign with a major label? It all depends on the contract.
