Welcome to Lystic and Juan G.'s band page. It don't matter who you are or where your from, we make music that everyone can hear and relate too. We are just regular everyday people with the ability to make music. Listen up for the music as it comes.
Why this name?
Lystic: Well Juan G's first name is Juan and his middle name starts with a G and we called him Juan G. And me, well this guy I knew wanted me to rap with him and we were gonna be AnimalLystic, he was Animal and I was Lystic but then he got kicked out of school and the name stuck with me.
Do you play live?
Juan G.: I play the piano live and rapped a few times, Lystic hasn't. Special moments, we won a rap contest in New Jersey for Making a 60 second commecial about wearing bike helmets. We got an award and $500 for 30 minutes of work.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Juan G.: You can look at all your competition out there and not make the same mistakes their making.(not saying that the music is bad or anything cuz some of it is good but most of it isn't)
Lystic: You can hear alot of diffrent types of artist and see whats hot and whats old and stupid.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Juan G.: Of course, thats my main goal, cause after I do that, I can do everything else myself.
Lystic: Yeah, but not no dumb lable, I rather just work a 9 to 5 before I work for some overly gangsta lable.

Band History:
Lystic and Juan G. Met up in 2002 at Penn Tech High School in Pennsauken, NJ. Juan G., a rapper/producer had been working solo and with his brother on tracks since he was 14, self taught on the piano, guitar, and all his production equipment. He had a handful of songs under his belt when he met up with Lystic in school. Lystic, a music writer since his freshmen year (14 also) had given up on music when he met Juan. For some reason still unknow to both of them, they showed each other there music and started working together. After trying to put together a rap group, they decided to do it themselves and after 14 months of trial and error they recorded there first 70 minute CD.

Basically where ever the crew is (shout-out to the all-stars mike, pete, mook) We from Camden, NJ but we not repping the streets and all that bull$hit, we got love for the city but that's it.

We are working on starting our own Independent Record label, everything should be up and running my 2006. We are also releasing our First Album around Christmas, which u will be able to purchase threw SoundClick. It will be re-done so the Songs won't be the same ones you have already heard.
