Melty - A project of Dj Frankie Bishop and dJ Bradley Gonzales of SF/Fairfield California, and San Diego California USA. Circa year 2000. Our first Digimelt project was done entirely using Propellerheads Reason 1.0 app.with no key controllers. The Reason app, an Apple Ibook with 16bit audio, soundstudio, Mac OS 8-9, a few notes from Frankie's Gibson Les Paul; and our ideas, were the only things we used. And, with very little to no post production mix down. Giving a very old school Techno sound.

Samples were recorded through the Ibook using a chincey Sony portable speaker system, Sony Walkman CD player and Sony "Sports" Walkman and then integrated into the songs within Reason. The songs come from an album we titled, "Melts in your ears, not in your hands". These cuts come from that CD. All creative aspects for the CD was completed on the Ibook as well. Music, cover art work and liners. The music and all aspects of the projects were sitting in the Ibook until it was recently decided for their release. All cuts were created and produced in Cali USA, Narita Japan, Bangkok Thailand, South Korea, mainland China and all airspace in between these countries!

We look forward to releasing more creative projects to the world! And we give a HUGE 'holla' out to our Fairfield CA homie, the ONE AND ONLY dj PiMp!
