616 are a bleak, heartbroken and vicious mess of a band. Fronted by transgender vocalist Miss j616 they're working on tracks that will appear later in the year on their album - to be called 'SONGS WITHOUT JOY'

Why this name?
616 is recorded in 'some' ancient biblical scrolls as the number of the Beast and not 666
For us, the '616/666' thing symbolises that what we may take for granted as common knowledge/certainty, may turn out to be wrong. History has often proved this to be the case time an time again.
(But can you rely on what you've been taught as your History ....?)
As for the second half of the name, that's too emotive to talk about here

We're a disease no-one wants, and what we've seen of major labels makes us sick to the pits of our sour bellies anyway
