The Joobee Project is comprised of myself, dj DAIKU, and 2000 Flushes. We just make music for the sake of making it and having fun. The Joobee Project has been in existance since August 2003, and is a constant project for us both.

Why this name?
Well, Josh - 2000 Flushes - made a song called "Joobee" one day, and so the name just stuck. We've been The Joobee Project ever since.
Do you play live?
We're a two person team of recorders, that's all. So, long story short, no.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
dj DAIKU: It's great, it really is. Were it not for the internet, well... I'd still be here in the dark. There's a lot of talent, and a lot of people just don't know how to get heard. The internet is the outlet people like myself need.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
dj DAIKU: It all depends. We make music for the sake of making it. Music is the language of Life! It's what keeps us going deep down inside.
Your influences?
dj DAIKU: I've got a bit few too many, but I'll list a few - Aquasky, TaQ, Aphex Twin, dj TAKA, DM Ashura (Also a Soundclick artist), the genres known as Gabba, Minimal Techno, Ambient, and Trip-Hop, and An 8-bit Warlock (another Soundclick artist).
Favorite spot?
dj DAIKU: I'd have to say Woodhaven Boulevard, in Queens. Best place I've been in a long time.
Equipment used:
Software: FL Studio 4.5.2 (with Sytrus), Acid Pro 4/Soundforge 7, Absynth 2, Soundtrack, Garage Band + Jam Pack, and 300+ drumloops from "Phatso's Place".

Hardware: (dj DAIKU) - Homebuilt 2.8GHz Pentium IV overclocked to 3.10GHz, 1GB Corsair DDR3200 RAM, total HDD space of 320GB, Creative SoundBlaster Audigy I (X-Gamer), Creative 4.1 Speakers.
