NEWS   We are very excited to tell you all about some things that are happening and some that are about to happen. The first and one of the most relevant is one of our oldest recordings has started getting huge downloads online we are very close to 6,000 downloads for this month as of New Years eve and as many as 200,000 downloads in total since 2003. The song is Just my Imagination, a Tempations song. We have not been totally happy with the old recording and very recently we have rerecordeded the entire song. Other songs are also doing well live original songs recorded at various venues are getting up to 1000 downloads per month. These are all free so get them if you want at the website www.strangelights.net

Lonny and Deb are most interested in continuing to work on the new album that will hopefully be finished in August 2009. This is going to be the most complex and professionally recorded project ever done by Strange Lights and what we feel is the best songwriting material as well. We hope you love it as much as we do! musical flavors on the album include mid 60's psychedelic harmonies, folk and rock, indie and modern pop influences and hopefully and intelligent flavoring that will keep you enjoying and finding new aspects to the songs each time you listen.
