The Reign has begun - and it's power is inescapable.
Kevin Rancik has been playing the piano for a number of years and is currently studying for a composition degree at the university level. After spending years composing short melodies, he self-released his first full-length album in 2002. Entitled "Lost," the contemporary piano album was very well-received and has been described as spooky, dark, and melancholic among a variety of other things. The album has a definite impact on its listeners, all of whom react to it differently. The album is unique in its own right and has drawn very few, if any, comparisons to other artists. In April 2004, Rancik released "The Reign," his second full-length album and follow-up to the debut "Lost." The album has received some praise already - the better production is very notable, the first single "Courtyard" has attracted considerable attention compared to other of Rancik's singles, the album's theme is much more coherent and the music is more solid. "The Reign" builds upon the foundation laid in "Lost" and takes a step in a different direction.
