Well S.I.G. stands for "Soul Inside of G" and ANTHONY means "THE WATCHER AND PROTECTOR" The rest of the related names are things dubbed of me, I deejay and rap as a profession, nobody does it like me, therefore, I AM THE DEEJAY RAPPER DON. My last album, whenever that may be, will be titled "S.O.S.A." (meaning Signatures Of Sig Anthony) it will chronicle my whole career and experiences and will leave a mark in music history that will stick with people when I move on and grow out of just recording music. "The Whole Damn Bizniz" concept is just what it says, I'm a CEO/Deejay/Rapper/Songwriter/Music Arranger/Actor, I also write screenplays and movie scripts as well as write songs for the genres of R&B, Gospel, Country & Western, Rock...so thats where that Whole Damn Bizniz "thing" came from.

Yes I play live. I've performed at various venues in NYC, NEW JERSEY, ATLANTA, FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA, JAMAICA, etc. Yes, I love performing live, it's a rush like no other. Every time the audience accepts my music and is rocking with it, that is a special moment for me. "A de fans dem mek yu who you are."

I think the internet has broadened the access of talent as far as people getting to hear your music, however, the illegal downloading of our musical works is devastating to our profitable income and will force artists and music industry professionals to take legal action at all costs or come to the conclusion that maybe digital sales are the new wave for the industry, we just have to put restrictions out there.

"THE WORLD IS YOURS," is probably what you think of when referring to Jamaican bred-GARRY BINNS AKA SIG ANTHONY (SIGZ), with a style so smooth yet rough, so hardcore yet serene this young entertainer is taking the recording industry by heart attack! He has yet to release his debut album on a major label and is still unsigned, but whoever gets this draft pick is signing promise. Coming from the red dirt of ST. ELIZABETH, JAMAICA to growing up in the drug-infested and gun-congested streets of NEW JERSEY, SIGZ delivers pain,love,triumph,and defeat in his lyrics, from talking about his aspirations in/out of the rap game to talking about the everyday struggle and problems we face in the world today, whether black or white, race doesn't matter, THIS YOUNG MAN IS MUSIC!

His style is a sweet blend between dancehall reggae and hip-hop, he writes for just about every other genre you can think of. Sig Anthony moved to FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA from PATTERSON, N.J. in 1994 where he began making a name for himself by organizing lunch talent shows in school and eventually performing at all the local spots in LAUDERDALE, i.e. SOCA CITY,TALK OF THE TOWN, BUMBLEBEE, HONEYCOMB, KRYSTALS aka STRAWBERRY'S, BAYFRONT PARK, CRISTAL, PEPPERS CAFE, as well as many more. He finally hooked up with another local group at the time by the name of TURBULANCE CREW, who with him, grew large and in charge on the streets of LAUDERDALE, they were well on their way, but like most groups things just weren't tight enough and eventually every member went his/her own way.

Dubbed the name JUNIOR KILLER at the time, he contributed to local hits like "WHICH CREW'S BIGGER","YOU CAN NEVER PHASE ME","TURBULANCE CREW GOT SH!T ON LOCK"(which was later recorded by Beenie Man and Scare Dem Crew) as well as solo hits like "GLOCK 9000","WALK PON BADMAN CORNA","NEWFOUND POUND PT. 1", "NEWFOUND POUND PT. 2", as well as others. Sig Anthony (GARRY BINNS)(BMI) took a different road than the other members, in 1995 he signed with an independent label called TIME PEACE ENTERTAINMENT,INC. who at the time was not ready for the financial committment to promote him as an artist as he needed, so he moved on, by 1998 along with TURBULANCE CREW he was working with a few producers but it was the same sad story to him, NO MONEY! He eventually decided to move out of the state but before he did, he tried one last time and recorded a single with former group-mate/longtime friend J.Q. SMOOVE to make "THUGZ FOR LIFE", a hardcore reggae dancehall song about what each of them have been doing for years, writing for different artists and getting no recognition in return, the single did well for about a good month before he just got up and left the sunshine state one day.

ATLANTA,GA. is where he ended up, and signed within 3 weeks to yet another independent label called FIRST CHANCE RECORDS,LLC. who promised him alot but virtually never came through with anything. Sig Anthony was forced to manage and book himself and eventually ended up going on tour in 2001 with JAMAICA'S own BABY CHAM on the WOW......THE STORY TOUR, which included artists like FRANKIE SLY, CE'CILE, CAPT. BARKEY, NITTY KUTCHIE, KARDINALL OFFISHALL, FOXY BROWN, BLACK ROZE SOUND, ADONAI, AND MANY MORE......after touring for most of the summer of 2001, Sigz decided to return to FLORIDA and record an independent debut album titled "G2....THE GOOD SUN"

The album debuted SUMMER 2005 overseas/ the caribbean. Sig Anthony also works with children in grades K-7 and has recently relocated to Kingston, Jamaica and is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the new album, THE AUTHENTIC, working with many of today's top producer's while getting his own MANAGEMENT AND BOOKING company off the ground called THE TOP SCALE AGENCY. Sig Anthony is also co-owner of Jamaica-based record label STAR-BOY MUSIC, INC. and he is also CEO of EXOTICAR AUTOMOTIVE of ATLANTA.
