Why this name?

Well, first it was Meccah Maloh. I was at the crib chillin' one day and it just came to me. It's a acronym for Mentally Evolvin' Consciencely, Consumin' All Haters & Miraculously Achieving Life & Overcoming Hell. Later on I just said f*** it and went with ..:.:MeCCaH:.:.. It's just easier for cats to pronounce it.

Do you play live?

I do battles. That's about it for right now as far as live shit. Just for right now though. I got shows commin' up in the summer.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet is wonderful for underground shit! Amazin'! It gives you a chance to hear everybody from across the globe with different styles and shit. Best thing since condoms!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

All depends on the label and the contract. I'm real picky.

Band History:

..:.:MeCCaH:.:.. (formally known as Meccah Maloh) was born and raised in a small, oppressed neighborhood in the East side Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Growing up listening to the likes of 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., and many others, he was later on inspired to pick up a microphone and began to add his two cents and become a part of the Hiphop Culture. ..:.:MeCCaH:.:.. has been battling for 4 years now and plans to make it huge in the underground scene.

Your influences?

Shit, my main influences is Cannibal OX, Supernatural, Nas, MOS DEF, KRS-One, Public Enemy, Wu-Tang Clan, f*** it, Hiphop in general!

Favorite spot?

Milwaukee is my place, but I love St. Louis. Don't ask why...:-)
