Why this name?
Long boring story about when I was a cook. To sum it up fast: I liked the name Acidic, thought it looked good on paper. Realized that by adding an A at the end, I had a palindrome. So, there you have it: AcidicA.
Do you play live?
We have played a few shows, opened for a couple big names. We always do a cover, and on youtube.com if you look up AcidicA you can see our live cover of enjoy the silence.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I like Mp3s, I think as long as artists put out good work, people will buy CDs. I think if artists are allowed to put out the same thing that someone else just put out, no one should have to buy the CD.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hmmm I would, but there would be a lot of argueing over rights. Plus, I would probably form a second band pretty quickly, in order to continue making the music I want to do.
Band History:
AcidicA has been around for more than 6 years.
We are now a 4 peice. With buster and AcidicA major writers we also now have Karl krist on keyboards and OddJester on vocals. Alot of new songs are in the works. Now if we just find time to finish them.

Your influences?
I can only speak for AcidicA Six (becuase I am him): Revolting Cocks/Ministry are huge influences on him, musically. Caffeine has a lot of influence on him, also. Depression often influences his lyrics, along with rage and bitterness...
Buster is classically trained, and loves bands like the Beatles, Bad Religion and Metallica.
karl krist is a classic trained pianist, and really theres not a piano piece he cant play.
