Why this name?
I lived in Little Italy/Chinatown for a year and a half. I lived 1/2 block from Hester Street, on Centre Street. During that time, I composed a cycle of songs about New York. I had different guest artists on the recordings with me. So I call us the "Hester Street Hotshots".
