Christopher James/M-5
Hello, Welcome to CJM5. This purpose of this site is to get you aquainted with me Chris James and M-5, the guest musicains that play on the CD's. The main guy in this mess with me in Jason 'Nester'Sisler. He takes care of all the percussion The music varies from some social d, rev horton heat sound, to ramones and chris isaak, and even some techno and acoustic. I figure since we are all influenced and like different music, the songwriting should reflect that. Please take a min to check us out, your time is appreciated.

Why this name?
Well, over the years I (Chris),like most musicians,go thru a boatload of people and egos, so it was easier to just use my own name since The songs are written by me anyway, and it made copyright easier.
Do you play live?
I have played live plenty over the years, but don't care to for awhile. I just finished the 3rd CD and would like to find someone to promote it and am shooting the videos for it now. maybe in a year or so. I would like to get a plan together first, then make the most of a tour.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great! I wouldn't be here now and people wouldn't be reading about me if not for the internet. It would suck to not get paid, but I think most people would buy the CD if given the chance.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I doubt it. I like my music the way it is, if I could keep my creative control and not lose the music the way it is, then ,yes. OF course, if $ was in my face, things might change :)
