TwoZ a Crowd is Barbara June and Patrick Michael.

Barbara June is an accomplished singer/songwriter and musician, having performed with the Windy Ridge Band, Patrick Michael adds his more than ample talents as a songwriter, musician, vocalist, arranger and studio engineer.
Barbara’s writing and vocal offering is rooted in Bluegrass and Folk music. Michael’s contribution comes from the other end of the spectrum with the more lively rhythms and licks of Rock.

Together, they deliver a diverse, delicious and excellent blend of distinctive melodies. Their music and lyrics are born from the lessons and emotions of life lived.

Though the music is impressive, it is Barbara’s vocals which give the music its flavor and distinctiveness. Her delivery is powerful and from the heart. Patrick not only adds vocal backup, but electric guitar, bass and drums.
Why this name?
There are only two of us performing all of the music and vocals making it difficult, if not impossible to duplicate in a “live” setting.
Do you play live?
Not at this time. With the limitation of performing live, we have been contacted requesting that TwoZ A Crowd consent to doing gigs since we appeared on the Web.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"The Net" is revolutionizing the industry. Indies will have a fighting chance to get heard, at last.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Never say never. We are not interested in going "Commercial" as it tends to rape the Artists & their music.
Band History:
Pat comments, “We are not aspiring to become Rock Stars, we merely want to share our music with any and all people. The songs here on the Web Site are a few of the drafts destined for the album. "We are confident that you will like them so much, that you will tell your friends and associates of your 'terrific find' and want to purchase the album when it is completed".
Your influences?
There are few “Studio Only” artists who have had great success in the music business. Some of the notables are; Dan Fogelberg (Pat’s mentor), Steely Dan and the Alan Parson’s Project.
Favorite spot?
West Gardiner, Maine - one of the last towns in America that is still free (no zoning).
Equipment used:

Anything else...?
Each song on this album was written, performed, produced and engineered at Windy Ridge Studio in Vassalboro, Maine. This small community, just north of Augusta, on the east bank of the Kennebec River with its country setting and quaintness is about as an inspiring a place as you can find to satisfy the urge and need to create. Barbara and Patrick do this together, in an unpretentious manner.
