Representing the 419, comes Toledo's premier working class punk band.
Why this name?
The name CL1 comes from C. L.ine 1.st shift, which is a reference to our blue collar lives.
Do you play live?
We have played many shows at the Longhorn, Mickey Finn's, Missi Blue's, The Masonic and Headliners. We really dig just about every band we've played with [and there are a lot].
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe.
Band History:
CL1 is "the pride of the (419)", a four piece band, playing working class punk. We're just taking our love for old school punk and Oi! (Discipline, Cock Sparrer, etc.) and newer punk bands (Rancid, Dropkick Murphy's, etc.) and adding 27 years of lower middle class life in northwest Ohio and what comes out is CL1.

An impressive compilation disc could be created with CL1 members previous bands.

Eric Kinney - guitars and vocals. Eric is a founding member and two of his previous bands include PKM and Slave March.

Sam Potts - guitars and vocals. Sam is also a founding member and two of his previous bands are Anit- and Social Angst.

Marc Barbour - bass. Two of Mark's former bands are Left For Dead and PKM.

Jenn Moffit - drums. Jenn was an original member of BroadZilla and The Ballistic Idiots.

With the complete band having been together for just a handful of months, CL1 made its live debut at the Longhorn Saloon on November 29th. The band was received by the packed house with cheers and ovations after every song. After being invited to return the next week CL1 repeated their quick paced performance, of twelve songs in just over thirty minutes, with the same results. CL1 is always looking for more shows and now has a demo CD available.

Being a new band on the scene, CL1 is anxious to prove themselves as a force that is not to be denied and the band also wants to show the world that the title of "the pride of the (419)" isn't just for show.
