I have been into music since the age of five and the beat goes on. My musical influences include James Taylor, Cat Stevens and Neil Young. My musical sound is very acoustic in the area of folk/rock somewhat like the band America or very early Eagles. I have been teaching guitar to aspiring students for thirty-five years. I am currently taking a break from the live performance circuit to spend all available time recording in my home studio in Scarborough. The musical results of this time well spent are now ready to be listened to. Hope you like the tunes.
Why this name?
I was born with it.
Do you play live?
Recording in the home studio for now.A special moment would be the time my brother and I shared a stage with famous comedian Jim Carrey at Scarborough College back in 1980.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Making your music available to the world in this medium is great and exciting. You can reach and connect with people everywhere, anytime.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Perhaps.
Band History:
Born and raised in Toronto and have been performing, teaching and recording music for many years.
Your influences?
The Beatles,James Taylor,Cat Stevens,Jim Croce and Bruce Cockburn. Also America, the Eagles,Harry Chapin and Joni Mitchell. Overall musical sound is very acoustic, layered guitars and lots of vocal harmony.Folk,Rock,Country,Blues mixture.
Lots of fingerpicking in the many guitar instrumentals which are played in various unusual guitar tunings. Haunting, heavenly and occasionally medieval in sound. Very different.

Equipment used:

Anything else...?
Music has and always will be who I am and what I do.It is a wonderful way to communicate to people and also share your thoughts, feelings and emotions to.
