Phil Jelinowski is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and sound designer from Mississauga, Ontario. He started making music in the late 90s and was influenced by electronic music artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Legion of Green Men, Download, Coil, Delerium and Front Line Assembly. Wire Fences is Phil’s first electronic music project which was founded in 2008 as a creative outlet and as a means of coping with and escaping the harsh realities of life.
Phil was heavily influenced by the poet and writer Charles Bukowski and his music explores some of the same themes such as misanthropy, imprisonment, escapism, surrogacy; vicarious living and social issues such as poverty, drug addiction, alcoholism, and domestic violence.
Wire Fences is completely independent, choosing not to be exclusively affiliated with any particular label. As a result, I rely heavily on support from listeners like you. Comments and feedback are welcome.
