How long have I been playing? let's just say a LONG time!! I started Piano lessons at age 7. Top Exam results in Playing - less so in Theory (which bored me). I've always been a good music reader though, so I got by. I was also very good at "covering up". When playing for singers they thought I was brilliant when in actual fact half the time I was not even looking at the music in front of me. Yeah - I can play a good way in to the Chopin Book, but I like more unusual or commercial type pieces, without being tripped up over not playing a staccato in let's say, bar 55 of some Piano Classic! Or forgetting to play a double sharp or flat somewhere :) So I was School Pianist - and then a Dancing School Pianist. I played in some huge venues for various things, worked with my shared Function Band on 5 Star Hotel gigs. I also worked for a large Holiday (vacation) Company as a Resident Pianist and Organist - doing a lounge 6 nights a week, plus kids shows and talent shows. Towards the end of this I was working on a Magic Act with my future wife. We made a tremendous success of this - so music was cast aside for many years. Along came Soundclick into my life, and a new interest and a new "Online Career" followed, albeit without pay :) But this does not concern me. We are retired now, and have a nice house in a nice Rural area of England. So life is good. I hope yours is too . . . Tony
