Danny Ramirez is a morbid folk singer-songwriter, and has been described as 'Evil Elvis', 'Johnny Cash goes Black Metal' and 'acoustic death metal'. He did gigs with a.o. Macabre, Amigo The Devil and Bob Wayne.
Danny Ramirez performs live regularly. Mostly in the Netherlands, but he also did gigs in Finland, France and Germany. Ramirez shared festival bills with a.o. murder metal band Macabre and bluegrass metallers The Goddamn Gallows, and played supports for morbid folk singer-songwriter Amigo The Devil, outlaw country singer-songwriter Bob Wayne and country punk and Hank Williams III bassplayer Joe Buck Yourself at some Dutch dates during his European solo tour.
Danny Ramirez's musical influences range from country music to traditional Mexican folk tunes. His lyrical influences however are more important and include a.o. murder metal band Macabre, horrorgore death metal band Necrophagia and horrorcore act Insane Clown Posse. In fact, the first Danny Ramirez song got written just four days after seeing Insane Clown Posse perform live.
