As a songwriter, I won 3rd Place, in the Lyrics Category, in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition, with a song called Miss You, and the song I wrote to be the charity single, Every Day (I Climb A Mountain), reached the Final, in the Pop Category, in the November round of the 2007 Song Of The Year Contest. I was also a Finalist in the 2008 UK Songwriting Contest.

I have also written a song which is going to be used on a charity cd to raise money for CLIC Sargent, the children's cancer and leukaemia charity. There is a page on the Just Giving site where donations can be made, either to help to pay for the charity cd to be made, or directly to CLIC Sargent.
If anyone can help in any way, it would be very much appreciated. If you would like any more details, send me a message and I will get back to you right away.

I used to play drums in an indie/rock band called Big Burd. I loved playing live. My favourite venue to play was King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, Scotland, where Oasis were "discovered". One very special gig was when we were the support band for Lunachicks at King Tut's.
