The music shall continue. That's right ladies and gents, he's back! Only this time, he's alone. Squirt comes to you fresh out of the blue. This ex-Extra Blue Kind bassist is now taking matters into his own hands. Born and raised in Naptown, Indiana, Squirt is no stranger to the growing music scene. Having already gotten his feet wet, from touring the nation with a soon-to-be major label band to opening for many national headliners, Squirt is ready to dive back into the scene and make a big splash.
Squirt's first solo project entitled "Out of Control" is a great representation of his self-dubbed style...Hip Pop. Composed, performed, and mixed by Squirt, "Out of Control" showed promise to be a great catalyst for more creative flow from this mad scientist.
Out of the depths of a lonely soul and a broken heart, Squirt's next take on life was one of sorrowful hope. Pleading for the attention of a lost love, Squirt's latest album, "Hold On" proves to be his most powerful effort to date.
Incorporating varying degrees of funk, rock, pop, r & b, and hip-hop...there is no question, Squirt has a sound all his own.
Recording home demos on a modest set up since 2003. I would eventually like to record a studio album, but I'm a po-boy.
I have never played out as a solo artist, however, I am in and have been in bands that have played out quite a bit. I've even opened for quite a few national acts. ;)
I have an eclectic range on influences. Although my favorite band is 311, I don't necessarily sound like them, however, if you are a fan of them you may find how they've influenced me deep within my music. I can listen to most genres, as long as it's good music...I can dig it.
Warwick Thumb Bass, Epiphone Acoustic, AKG Vocal Mic, Boss Drum Machine, Roland VS-880 Digital Recording Studio, and a few various other noise-makers.
Nah-nah, Nah-nah.
